So as inspired by one of my favorite books, Do Travel Writers Go to Hell, I decided to write a list of my life goals and shocker they are not normal life goals! There is not a single one about financial security or a job, a house, a marriage and all that other traditional stuff, not that those wouldn't be bad, but there are far more important things on my list. So here is just a sampling of my life goals:
Climb a glacier in Patagonia (implies I must eventually get into shape)
Scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef (which in turn means i'll have to learn how to Scuba Dive)
Go snowboarding in Dubai (because really how awesome is that!)
Visit the Pyramids (something I have wanted since I was little)
Drink Vodka in Moscow
Swim with the Turtles in the Galapagos Islands (thanks Linda and Amanda for that one)
Go to a Turkish Bath House
Take a regional train across India (next summer hopefully!)
Hike up to Machu Picchu (once again something that I have wanted to do since I was little)
Walk the Great Wall (not all of it, i'm not that ambitious!)
Party until 11am in Ibiza
Ride a camel in Morocco
Party in Brazil for Carnival
Now I think those are reasonable life goals and by life goals I really mean I would like to do this in the next ten years so I can add other things to the list. I'm not asking for much right? So here's to seeing if I actually can accomplish it! I mean I accomplished my first goal of moving to Rome, I can surely do the rest right?
